Training
We actively support staff training in our setting by fostering a culture of continuous professional development. We identify individual and team training needs through regular observations, supervision meetings, and reflective practice. We encourage staff to attend relevant courses, workshops, and in-house training sessions that align with the setting’s goals and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Our senior team lead by example, sharing best practices and providing mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members. We also facilitate peer learning opportunities, such as team discussions, staff meetings, and sharing sessions where colleagues can reflect on their learning and how to apply it in practice.
In addition, we help ensure that training is embedded into everyday routines by supporting staff in setting professional development goals and reviewing their progress regularly. By promoting a supportive and inclusive environment, we help build staff confidence, improve practice, and ultimately enhance outcomes for children.
